Coffee Plantation

As you step off the bus and onto the soil of the coffee plantation, the sweet scent of coffee fills the air.  Your guide will explain the history of the plantation and the process of growing coffee beans. As we stroll around the plantation, you will see how each step is essential in bringing that cup of coffee to life.

At the coffee processing area, you will see the skilled workers handpick the ripe coffee cherries with utmost precision. They pour the cherries into baskets and haul them off to the washing station. The cherries go through a rigorous process of washing, peeling, and sorting, and you will learn that this careful attention to detail is what makes the coffee taste exquisite. We will then proceed to the drying station, where the coffee beans get laid out under the sun. The drying process lasts up to two weeks, depending on the weather, until the beans become crispy and turn brown. It's at this point that the coffee takes its natural and classic scent. The ground coffee is then collected and transported to commercial grinders. Watching these giant machines grinding away with such force and vigor is awe-inspiring. Finally, we will be welcomed to sit back and enjoy the delicious aroma and rich flavor of freshly brewed coffee, a culmination of all the hard work and effort put in. This visit will undoubtedly open your eyes to the effort behind your morning cup of coffee. You will leave with a greater appreciation of the world of coffee and how it gets to your mug, thanks to this incredible experience at the plantation.
