Khao Sok

Khao Sok is a national park in Southern Thailand that contains the oldest evergreen rain forest in the world and the man made Cheow Lan Lake. The limestone mountains that arise straight out of the water on the lake are stunning.

The forest is teeming with wildlife that can often be seen from the boat we will ride in on. Gibbons, monkeys, wild elephants, wild boar, hornbills and tigers can all be seen there. 

We will also go to an elephant sanctuary and spend some time with those magnificent creatures. For more information, click on the link in the itinerary. While we may not follow that program, time frame or location exactly, you can see pictures and get a general idea of what we will be doing and seeing.
